Who are we?
Isegoría is a private consulting business in Colombia that focuses on providing services to our clients in the public and private or community sectors and with whom we build long term relationships that begin from the diagnosis and understanding of their needs until the implementation of solutions and their assessment.
Isegoría emerges with the purpose of connecting great professionals and experts to work as a team and provide a resolution to social and business problems. For this reason, our company relies on an ample network of independent consultants who participate in the initial design stage and/or implementation of strategies until the final phases of the process. This is a network built from years of experience and business relationships. It is the true capital of our business.
Andrés is an anthropologist with a masters and doctoral studies from the University of Paris 1. He is an expert in research and assessment with mixed methods where he integrates participative methods in an efficient manner. He is recognized in the field for his versatility and his ability to approach different subject matters according to the interests and problems of his clients. His ample experience is due to the work he performed for the (Centro Nacional de Consultoría) National Consulting Center where he obtained the position of Vice-president of the Government, learning to lead large teams and manage matters that has a great impact on the public policy of Colombia: gender, nutrition, social protection, victim support and accompaniment. Andres’ expertise has led him to work as a consultant for the (Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo) Interamerican Bank of Development dealing with matters of social protection and to work as an external consultant for other countries in governmental areas.
At Isegoría, he is responsible for the conceptual and methodological design of projects and the analysis and development of final research and assessment documents.
Paola is a psychologist with a master in Human Rights. She stands out due to her extensive experience in field work and for her psychological abilities to generate empathy and take a leading role while working with teams and vulnerable communities: displaced populations, indigenous and afro Colombian communities, women who are victims of the armed conflict, docents, boys, girls and adolescents. Her expertise comes from years of working in human rights and ethnic matters for the (Procuraduría General de la Nación) Procurator-General of the Nation and successively for the (Centro Nacional de Consultoría) National Consulting Center where she focused on applying qualitative methods and operative fields for the public and private sectors.
At Isegoría, her role is to work as operational project coordinator implementing and carrying out the information gathering process for research studies and evaluations.
Omar is an economist, political scientist and has a masters degree in public policy of the (Universidad de los Andes) University of the Andes.
He has professional experience in researching areas related to higher education, social security and competitiveness. He also has a strong knowledge of quantitative analysis and assessment methodologies to evaluate impact. Omar is a Professor in technical areas of data analysis and impact evaluation for the masters program of management and development practice at the (Universidad de los Andes) University of the Andes.
At Isegoría, he is responsible for the statistics area, focusing on processing and analyzing qualitative information found in the research and evaluations that have been performed.
Alvaro is a social anthropologist, expert in research methodologies and qualitative assessment. He has experience in information gathering and analyzing information in fields and documents as well as processing this information with the support of technical reports and publishing of academic articles. Alvaro has worked in matters related to forced displacement and migration, humanitarian attention, social transformations, reconstructing communities, state interventions and public policy analysis.
At Isegoría, his role is that of social investigator focusing on ethnic matters.
Paola is an anthropologist of the (Universidad Javeriana) Javeriana University, with professional experience in public health matters and community field work.
At Isegoría, she works as a research assistant for various projects and manages Atlas T and Envivo, software programs used for qualitative research.
Administration technician with ample experience in business management and budgeting projects.
At Isegoría, he works performing different administrative and financial tasks that provide support to the budgeting and contract proposals and projects of our company.
